Spring is in the air!

After what seems to have been a long hard cold winter the daffs and spring flowers are starting to burst into colour, there is a tree outside my office that’s already budded. So let’s look forward to what will hopefully be a gorgeous summer! Maybe we will get a barbeque one this time!

We’ve restocked after the Christmas rush. Many thanks to all those customers who have kindly supported us.

Our deli counter is full of a multitude of good foods, many produced by ourselves in our own kitchens. Our cooked meats are as popular and tasty as ever, there is a comprehensive selection of cheeses from around the world and our “home cured” bacon is becoming ever more popular.

Mothers Day and Easter are just around the corner. We have a great selection of Belgian and English chocolates along with many Easter gifts.

Hampers: these are made to individual requirements and make a great gift. Please ask for details.

We have now in stock our new “own label champagne”. Perfect for a gift or celebration it’s dry fruity and classily packaged in black and gold livery. Also reasonably priced!

Another new addition this spring is a fabulous brand new Devon Cider from Sampford Courtney. Again taste great [not too dry] and brilliant packaging.

Spanish Pottery: this year we have decided to continue with a selection of Spanish pottery and traditional cook ware. The salad bowls, plates and dishes are full of sunshine colours, bright and fun!

Cranberry jelly with edible silver leaf and elderflower jelly with edible gold leaf, now in stock , make a great little treat or present.

“Are you ready to take on The Beast”? This is the question Ivan the maker of Berio Mill Mustards and jellies asks on his Beast of Bodmin Moor mustard. Made on the edge of Bodmin Moor in small batches they really are worth a try.

Our range of own label wines offer excellent value and quality. Alongside these there are some very fine wines and spirits including such as Dows 1945 port and Janneau Armagnac 1903 and many more.
